I just hate how ever since George Floyd it’s gone super commercial. It was somewhat commercial before but now it’s overdrive and just seems like a way for companies to get bp to buy shyt.
Before we entered this month they have been attempting to attack critical race theory because "it makes people uncomfortable". It feels like folks are trying to adjust to the limitations of what's allowed to discussed, taught or celebrated

Crazy how they gave us the shortest month of the year and the month where sometimes snowing occur, forcing us to stay at home and not be out celebrating Black History Month

I'm pretty disappointed in how we're handling it on TheColi right now
I gave up on the month after they keep pumping out the same folks in schools, instead of digging deeper into the purpose of black figures damn near building the friggin world. I cringed like I'm having a stroke when my son discuss what he learned in school. Like even the lessons are watered down
. I just want this damn month to get thrown back in the bushes since nobody gives a fukk anymore, unless some shyt happens to hit the news.
