No, but that guy she asked for help was an employee in the store. If a customer says she feels unsafe and asks you to call security then yeah it’s your job to do that.
A retail business should be willing to escort a customer (Especially one with children in tow) to their car, within their parking lot, if the customer demonstrates at legit fear. I'd fire whichever employee bushed that woman.
i think it's less about a gender war and more about legalities. damn, all dude had to do was get a higher up. i'm sure there is a protocol for this and dude seems like a liability. so what if something actually did happen? now walmart is on the hook for potential lawsuit cuz big goof at the door couldn't be bothered to do low level customer service.
