Is it normal for a teenager to catch the holy ghost?!?

Yesterday I was talking to my daughter and she informed me that at church she witnessed my nephew who is 17 "catching the ghost" and it scared her. I asked her what he was doing and she said he was breaking down crying, stomping his feet, throwing his hands etc... and she said my sister told her it's not the first time he has done it. Odd because my sister has NEVER mentioned this to me. My Nephew is a "unique" kid. He's pretty much a loner who does nothing but play video games ALL day. His father, who was my boy, was murdered when he was young and my Sister basically coddled him from that day forward. I mean he barely knows how to clean or wake himself up without her intervention. He goes away to college in a few weeks and I could see his mother calling EVERY day to make sure he up for class
But back to the church thing. You Christians out there, is this normal behavior I personally wonder is he just in need of attention
I personally think he needs to get off the damn video games and go get a damn girlfriend or something

Not quite sure on how to address this one...especially since his Mother has not mentioned it to me. She normally mentions EVERYTHING. So that tells me that she is at least a lil uncomfortable about it.

Well I grew up in a Baptist church so I have definitely seen it happen but I can't remember a teen catching it. I'm a little weird-ed out on this one.

Anyway back to OP... yeah I'd say he at the age where it's not deemed abnormal for him to do it..... But as I've gotten older I've realized that the "Holy Ghost" is really only a sign of someone going through mental stress, so he may have some internal things he needs to deal with.

My mom got the "holy ghost" one time when I was really young, and she never speaks on it till this day (possibly embarrassed), but she says she knew exactly what she was doing.... As I looked back, my mom was under a lot of STRESS at the time.

I remember this ish when I use to go when I was younger it was usually reserved for the women of the church, always some old ass grandmother type getting up and saying she feel the spirit shaking and shyt, trying to act like god coming through only thing coming through you is some leftover cum from the 60's

I remember going to church as a teen and the whole congregation would gather around me... Lay hands upon and pray trying to induce the holy ghost. I never caught it. The pastor concluded I had demons. She might of been right. I remember liking all the women touching me.

I was 11 and they put all the kids in one room and got hands "laid" on us...I guess we were all supposed to catch the ghost..but i was the last one standing and just finally gave in and spoke some gibberish
