Is it normal to buy a new outfit for holidays?

I know but I guess my upbringing was differen.

Deceased parents and we never had a place to celebrate holidays.

I grew up basically with cousins and brothers with my grandmom...she was too old to cook and shyt. Lol.

I understand buying a new outfit for new years day because most likely you're going out to a party or a club/bar. I don't see the point in buying a new outfit for thanksgiving or christmas when you gonna be around your fam. Just wear the nicest shyt you already got.

We aint going nowhere...we staying home for thanksgiving and Christmas. I aint buying shyt.

Ill cop an outfit for new years eve or other occasions though.

Speaking of.... I need to get something for my New orleans trip in 3 weeks
