Maybe that is the case, after all many people have no interest in having kids and being single. But that’s not the same as coming to that conclusion because it’s your personality. It’s coming to that conclusion because you don’t have an option otherwise. Are you single and childless because it makes you happy not to be or are you single and childless because no one wants to be with you or want kids with you…and you’re just coping?
Because they may very well be the group that is quite happy. But they are also the group most likely to lie through their teeth to save face. Either way, I don’t know why anyone could be that interested in someone else’s life.

Different reports counter each other on this. Some say the happiest are single and childless women, some say the happiest are married moms. When it comes to surveys, sample biasness always plays a factor in outcomes. Add in the factor that people may lie on surveys to make themselves look better so they should always be compiled in a large aggregate of surveys with different sample groups to get a better idea of what the truth is.
Another way to find the truth on who is the happiest is to look at what people are actually doing, not what they say they feel. So, look at the anti-depression drug use demographics as a possible view into the truth.
