Is it not disrespectful to Reverend Dr Martin Luther King Jr when you make posts disparaging religious southern black people?

People on here love to disrespect religious black people, southern black people, religious people in general. Is this not disrespectful to a man whose life was dedicated to religion, civil rights of black people, and was a southern black man? How are you not being disrespectful towards Reverend Dr King’s life and legacy when you engage in this behavior? It’s prevalent on here

You'd probably call MLK a Democratic shill if he had an account on the coli lol
Why would I call him that? I’m against anti blackness of any kind and MLK wouldn’t even fall into any category to be placed. Terrible dap fishing

“Dr. King never believed in any kind of party identification,” Baldwin says. “He never allowed himself to become closely aligned with partisan politics. He occasionally said that that both the Democratic and Republican Party had betrayed his people.”

You don’t even know about Reverend Dr king :mjlol:

Should just ignore shills. They argue in bad faith. They equating themselves to MLK now. These the same people that use to call this place the black storm front and say "democrats can't do nothing specifically for black folks" "Conservatives won't allow us to do anything for black people." Rationalizing their lack of interest in black folks by scapegoating republicans.

Their engagement strategy is similar to Republicans anti-woke engagement strategy. The same way republicans would drum up panic and hysteria in their base by talking about how woke is taking over and the country is going to end because of anti gun laws and LGBT. Dems do the same thing about Trump and maga. With both the conversation devolves into rage baiting, gotcha moments, and looking for one liners and audio sound bites.

I think the best thing to do is just not support them, don't bump their threads not even to argue, let them have their echo chamber and when mid-terms come up don't support their candidates. Rinse and repeat.

Shills was trying to shame bothsiders for saying Kamala wasn't going to win and we were right she lost. These nikkas didn't apologize or say they were wrong they just kept resorting to their normal bad faith arguments.

When Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was 18 years old, he chose to enter the ministry. It was his way of fulfilling what he called his “inner urge to serve humanity,” an urge that would guide his work in the Civil Rights Movement. Even as his work broadened and his fame grew, he considered himself to be “fundamentally a clergyman” and referred to his religious work as his “being” and his “heritage.”

Yea, let’s continue to disrespect religious black folks and the south. :camby:

Terrible dap fisher
Grown men can’t admit when they’re wrong

You're whole thread is a dap fish lol

"Hey guys, let's respect MLK and stop making fun of southerners and religious people"

You should get back to trying to form a better argument for your original thread

I will always have respect for Dr. King.

But I'm still getting my southern jokes off
I don’t think anyone has an issue with regional jokes, we all do it. My issue is how vitriolic the rhetoric towards southern black people, especially southern religious black people can be. I know @Field Marshall Bradley knows exactly what I’m talking about. You already have a clown running in here playing obtuse
