White racists are like weeds. You pull them up, come back the next day and they're back with friends. We've haven't even convinced them that slavery was wrong.

Edit:For those confused, what I am saying is that racism morphs, white peoples understanding or racism is limited to such topics such as slavery (which itself is still being openly contested) but resurfaces in topics such as affirmative action, and freedom of speech among others. If you ask the average white person about racism beyond slavery and hate speech, you would be surprised by their answers.
