Is it possible to be charismatic but not charming?

Charming is more about you, you're easier to be around. Charismatic is about making the other person feel good about themselves.

On the flip side, I don't think a charismatic person can NOT be charming.

Charming is more about you, you're easier to be around. Charismatic is about making the other person feel good about themselves.

I think you have it the other way around.

charming = making others feel good

charismatic = people flock to you, like a magnet.

Ugh everyone points to him. I think people adored him. Those that were under him were killing for him. Its a mystery why tho. Some say fear, but I dunno.

well thats their charismatic convincing personality thats doing that, not their charm I think. A charming person doesn't necessarily have leadership qualities, they may be happy around you, that doesn't mean they're drawn to you. But a charismatic person it can be the other way around.

Villains can be charismatic and manipulative. You know they're bad to be around, but you're drawn. you may not even like the person, but you still listen and follow their moves, whether directly or indirectly.

I think a charming person can have little to no friends, but a charismatic person will always have loads of friends, people are just drawn.
