I can't imagine living in a world in which China and Russia are the sole superpowers. Given their authoritarian nature and record on human rights its hard to imagine them being any less hawkish than America.

Can someone please educate me on this. How exactly does the US have a progressive foreign policy without letting Russia or China filling the vacuum?

We don't have a proggressive policy. Only people in denial claim we do. You should be glad that we don't, otherwise we would be another Brazil (high wealth inequality).

I am an ignorant fool. Explain.
China's economy is better than ours in my honest opinion. Ours is consumer based. If China were to have more influence than us worldwide. our standard of living would go down. The rich in America will get to keep their standard of living while our middle class starts to disappear. Pretty much like Brazil.
