Is it the end of people congregating organically in public spaces?

People were already not really just hanging out for the sake of it before the pandemic....COVID just made it official...

Going to the movies ain't the event it used to be

Amazon and online shopping killed the mall

Fortnite and COD killed playing outside for little kids

I'm glad I was able to see the world before internet took away natural human gatherings :mjcry:

Gen Z may never experience that

Considering how proudly deranged n mental people are acting nowadays being inside might be a better thing. Unless I'm on a date, exercising, on vacay, or doing business, I'm inside. Also i prefer going to private house parties over the club. N y go to the movies when I can watch the same movie in my house in a more comfortable way.

A case could be made that outside is getting overrated in this cyber world age.

As a person who at one point in life was out 6 days a week, the transition has been hard, but it’s over. Life is for sure different now. I think we for sure witnessed a shift in life but shifts always happen, just may be harder for us cause we saw it. The generations coming up won’t feel any way about it.

The quality of food at restaurants has gone down. People pretty much only eat out for special occasions, and when traveling. And with food delivery, you have more options other than Chinese food, and pizza. You can stay in, and order food, and watch your large HDTV, and stream whatever is in the movies, and 10 times what you’d find at Blockbuster.

Where y’all live? I’ve been in 3 states in the last 6 months and even in the cold people are hanging out. Clubs, bars, ice rinks. I watched the fireworks for new years downtown Chicago sitting on the planetarium steps. There was hundreds of adults and kids.

Y’all are lame as fukk. I am so sick of people being depressed or pretending Covid or work from home stopped something. People are STILL packing museums and stores and bars.

People are still living life like nothing happened.

For me

Ever since Nip and Kobe passed things have just been in a tailspin…

Had 3 people close to me pass just recently after I talked with them.

My boy Elvis, Erm, and Kobe. Spoke to them one day. The next just gone.

Nothings really quite been the same. And even the food we eat these days doesn’t taste the same because they have found a way to monetize and use cheaper ingredients then back in the day. The world is just a different place.:to:

The Field Museum and Shedd Aquarium were so popular on their free-admission days Monday on Martin Luther King Jr. Day that tickets officially "sold out" for the day.

"Field Museum tickets are SOLD OUT for the day," the Field Museum tweeted just before 2 p.m. and posted to its website. "We apologize for the inconvenience and hope to welcome you on another day."

Look at these museums being packed before 2pm
