I'm a Jabari fan, I think the kid has a lot of talent. That being said, after tearing his ACL again and considering his impending RFA - which often results in players getting overpaid - in addition to a cap hold of over $20mil I'm pretty sure regardless, what's his future in Milwaukee?

Middleton is a great SG, I still love Thon's longterm upside with this crew, and while I think Brogdon's at his best as a 6th man like how Iggy plays for GSW he's definitely a keeper. Do you really keep Jabari a part of this core, or do you look to move him in a trade?

Also, what do you think you can get for him? I think the Bucks need, more than anything, a scoring PG/shooting to compliment Giannis. The FA market is weak unless you're willing to invest in RFA Zach LaVine and take a gamble on him who minus the ACL injury I think is a perfect fit and an elite talent.

You think they can maybe move something like Jabari and a 1st for DLo?

Theoretically, if the Bucks clean the roster and get DLo while removing Parker, Teletovic, Hawes(minor salary), and Delly along the way(they'd have to make various deals, pick up expiring contracts) they can keep have ~$28mil in cap space next summer to support this squad
PG: DLo, Brodgdon
SG: Middleton, Snell
SF: Giannis
PF: Wilson
C: Maker, Henson

:ehh:

It's 3AM and I'm kinda loopy rn :yeshrug:

No amount of picks would compel the nets to give up D'snitchelo Russell. Parker has the injury prone label now. If any team does trade for Parker, who's a restricted FA it will certainly be a trade rape or something just as bad as what the sixers got for Noel: a conditional 1st rounder that's likely 2-3 second round picks.

They wanted to make a deal with the Knicks for Melo, but Melo didnt want to play with the Bucks. I think somewhere along the lines his name was brought up in possible Cleveland trades. The problem is, he doesnt show the upside like Embiid does or they could give him a stipulated contract like that. The best pieces you get for him now I think is picks.

Man, stop trying to break up a homegrown squad and leave that team together. No reason to break them up at all. They are young and trading one of em away just for the sake of trading isn't gonna help them long term. They need scoring besides 'Giannis and shooters' and Bari's game complimented Giannis's last year when they were on the floor together.

This is OKC with Harden Russy and KD all over again. I want to see a young squad stay together for a change, rather than front offices outthinking themselves and selling off parts too early. You do that and you can't preach that "family" and "loyalty" sh!t to Giannis when its time to re-up. If I'm the gm, I wouldn't trade a soul from their core six or seven unless Giannis came into my office and asked for it.
