Cars 2 was their first movie to have a generally poor reception, and Brave and Monsters University, while they got good reviews, weren't on par with the Toy Stories and Wall-E and Up and all their other movies that weren't the first Cars. Meanwhile, Dreamworks has been coming for their neck over the last few years.

Brave won a Oscar. Monsters University is a damn sequel that plenty of people have be asking for. It doesn't have to be "on par" with wall e and Up. It just has to be a deserving sequel in it's own right(Which it is)

Uh, YEAH. Because up until Cars 2, they DID. That was the standard they set for themselves. I didn't just make this shyt up.

LOL at Dreamworks. All they do is sign a bunch of famous actors to do voice overs and then release a mediocre to bad movie. The first 2 Shreks is all they have.

i want to see them really go outside the box. maybe a movie about an anthropomorphic cat who learns the value of minding his own damn business, or a talking chicken who learns it's cheaper to keep her, or something. anything different than what they've been doing

WIR was fun but lets be real, Hotel Transylvania was the best animated movie of 2012

Brave was weak don't get it twisted....I watched that shyt and it was nowhere NEAR their classics. With Brave, Cars 2 and now Monsters University Pixar does have some explaining to do....we ain't filing paperwork yet but we're getting it ready to be filled out. They better step up with their next original movie

I liked Brave. But I'm still patiently waiting for Incredibles 2.
