I think we can all agree that the dynamics and expectations between men and women have changed drastically. Both genders have changed and roles have been reversed. Not saying that the old was better, but there was structure. No there's really no standards or structure. Most couples are establishing standards, roles and rules of their relationships as they go. And most of us, especially us from single parent home tend to get a lot of our expectations and relationship standard from Television and social media quotes and memes. This leads to a lot of confusion, frustation and flat out chaos. And our generation isn't built to fight through too many bad phrases any a relationship. I'm sure there's a meme that states "love and relationship shouldn't be easy and flow like a waterfall." That means you should abort if things get too hard. You're happiness comes 1st right?
Laws have created incentives for women to divorce their husband. You can't blame a woman for following the protocol set in place for them during divorce and child custody. Can't blame women for taking advantage of a flawed system, you have to blame the system first.
Both genders have a mixture of expectations. Seems most women what to benefits of traditional courtship from the man, but don't want to be held to the traditional standards of women of the past. Just go online a state you require a woman to cook, clean and sex you a majority of the time and you will be stoned. If a women requires a man to take care of the home, cars, repairs, a majority of the bills, she's applauded. So there's a double standard there, that most men want state, but have high distain for.
I could go on and on as to why dynamics between men and women are so jacked up and fail a majority of time, but I'm here to discuss is it time to modify our expectations and definitions of a modern relationship?
Are both sides requiring too much?
Is that Cosby or Family Matters type family impossible to achieve in 2018?
Is loyalty too much to ask for?
IF so, should be more open to open relationships?
