From my understanding, the Bird Flu is affecting both male and female chickens. So why isn't the price and supply of chicken being affected?
Found the answer: Bird flu typically doesn't significantly impact chicken meat prices because most outbreaks primarily affect egg-laying hens, not broiler chickens raised for meat, meaning the supply of chicken for consumption remains largely unaffected while the egg supply can drastically decrease, leading to higher egg prices instead.
