Yes, since he publicly acknowledges the plight of black QBs.
Mike Vick and Shaun King (Fox Sports Radio) shy away from it.
McNabb, Culpepper, Leftwhich, Aaron Brooks, Cunningham, and many others I'm not sure have the platform or do so publicly.

Doug Williams mentoring Jayden Daniels
Warren Moon mentoring Cam Ward

RG3 and Mahomes are known to be a c00ns, but have acknowledged it what it take to be a black QB in the NFL.

Same for Lamar without the c00nin'...usually the favorite player of the youngins + Prior to Cooper Rush had an all-black QB room (w/Leary on practice squad)

What did Jalen say?

What I’m saying is that if almost 50% are black, you are giving back to people who are already close to majority. And what is the plight in this case it’s not 2017 or worse 2007 anymore for black QBs.

Maybe white guys get more benefit of doubt still, but it’s not very easy to notice unless you read between the lines in some pods and shyt. I’d say that black coaches still face the same problems they always had though

Patrick Mahomes still gets disrespected despite winning SBs and MVPs
Lamar Jackson still gets disrespected despite winning MVPs (should've won a 3rd)
Jalen Hurts still gets disrespected despite winning SBs

Last off-season, they hyped up CJ stroud then shyt on him
This off-season, Jayden is getting the hype...wouldn't be shocked if the media turns on him

When it comes to undermining their accolades, logic gets thrown out. They some how found a way to turn their accolades, into something negative.

Thank You. Black QB's have gotten EVERYTHING from out the mud and are still having to prove themselves to these "Analyst" and Media personalities. Yes I'm happy there are more Black starting QB's than ever in history. The NFC Beast has 4 starting Black QB's. But none of that was Given it was 100% Earned. I'm happy Jalen is talking to Shedeur and telling him to keep his head up about the Browns QB situation. If anyone knows about being doubting it's Jalen. He sat behind Carson his 1st year before taking over. He was probably telling Shedeur to not worry about the Depth Chart and just take advantage of his Oppounity. Haters are still trying to minimize him getting Super Bowl MVP while propping up QB's who accomplished way less. Black QB's are basically their own fraternity in the league and they need to continue to look out for each other.

I don’t know who is disrespecting these cats and what about them they disrespect. Like Mahomes never heard people say shyt about him other than the usual KC being the evil empire like the Yankees.

People disrespect every single big name player out. If you are getting the biggest bucks, people will criticize you. It might be that simple. Every little thing there is to criticize, will be criticized. Like eg Lamar’s delivery in the playoffs, Hurts having a loaded squad/mediocre stats etc.

Listening to social media you’d think that Aaron Rodgers is the Kwame Brown of the nfl.

Btw, MVP is a media prize. Which means that the media loves Lamar.

I feel like you only follow black QBs, if you are bringing up CJ. He wasn’t as good as his first year, that was the only thing people were saying. Like what should they say? Lie and say that he was great. He was still being called a rising star and they blamed a lot of his shortcomings on injuries :dahell:

I follow all AFC teams, and most NFC teams.

Stroud was coached by shyt OC, played behind a terrible line, his 'weapons' were often injured or missed a significant portion of the season.

Josh Allen, Joe Burrow, Justin Herbert are coddled by the media.

Burrow was once the highest-paid player, able to get the team to resign his top 2 WRs.
The "Are the _____ wasting ____ talent?" Is usually given during a QB's rookie contract. Not after the QB signs an at the time record-breaking extension.

I work from home, usually have European or International soccer playing on one of my screens. When there's no game, YouTube plays FS1, ESPN, CBS Sports, NFL, and other NFL-related channels. I've heard the double-standards, hypocrisy, and flat-out disrespect regarding Jackson, Mahomes, and Hurts.

Point im making is that you are focusing and scraping the world for the negatives. If you do that, you can find negative stuff on everyone.
Except of course people who nobody cares about.

As far as who the people are who are criticizing. Often it's just stan wars like Jordan and Lebron.
Bengals/Burrow fans shyt on Mahomes, and KC/Mahomes fans shyt on Burrow. Ravens/Lamar fans shyt on Josh, and the opposite; after previous MVP race.

You find what you seek.

The term "Justin Herbert flop" generally refers to criticisms of Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert, particularly after disappointing performances in crucial games. While he's known for his impressive regular season stats and physical tools, some analysts and fans point to a perceived lack of clutch performance and inability to lead the team to postseason success as evidence of a "flop." This includes his performance in playoff games and losses in must-win regular season games.

Burrow might be the one player I see not getting much criticism, that might be cause he has been playing with a sorry line and defense for years, while he's been putting up big numbers.

Well said!

It's insane how frequently they undermine black QBs, then make excuses for their contemporaries.

Also, repped!

It's all different types of criticism too, some people like Lamar gets criticized for not replicating his regular season performance in the playoffs. He criticises himself for it too. It's people calling him the best player in the league criticising his playoff performance and saying that it's stopping him from reaching the highest level that he should be in.

That's like good criticism, saying that with his skills he could be goat level but he gotta learns how to win big games.

A cat like Goff isn't even in that discussion, so how can he be criticized for it.

Just like one might criticize Luka or Jokic defense a lot, or Hardens efficiency in the playoffs, or Embiids heart for the game etc. That's cause they are in the top.

People have short memory of how much people used to criticize Payton Manning for having a losing record in the playoffs until his defense carried him 3 games in his last 3 games.

I'm not talking about content creators who are fans, that's what they do, they're fans.
I'm talking about mainstream media misusing and miseducating their viewers with hypocritical, agenda-driven BS.
Mina Kimes, Ben Slowak, and the guys from the Athletic Football Show call it fair.

Every QB, has shyt they need to overcome. For black QBs, it's usually not noted in comparison to their contemporaries, where the media overstates it.

It's people calling him the best player in the league criticising his playoff performance and saying that it's stopping him from reaching the highest level that he should be in.

My point is hypocrisy and double standard. They can criticize Lamar Jackson for not winning the SB. Yet the same individual criticizing Lamar will make excuses for certain QBs not making the playoffs or winning said SB. For white QBs it's a team game, black QBs it's all on the QB.

I've seen people rank non-SB winning QBs above Mahomes.
Herbert ranked above Stroud.
QBs who haven't won AP1s are ranked above those with AP1s
QBs who haven't won MVPs are ranked above those with MVPs

Lamar does get proper credit and criticism from those in analytics and film-study community. Actual #s and those obsessed with All-22 are less biased, and more balanced on their stance; which helps black QBs since the don't have to deal with racial tropes.
