Is Jay Z the only rapper who gets more hate post prime then he did in his actual prime?

I feel like he’s more hated now, especially online than he was in let’s say 2001 which is kinda scary. I know Twitter wasn’t a thing but online forums and comment sections definitely were.

The common excuse for a guy getting hate in their prime is “im sick and tired of them being shoved down our throats, they are everywhere on the radio on MTV etc”

But that’s not the case for Jay now. He hasn’t dropped a solo album since 2017, does guest verses on occasion but they are mostly on random album cuts not singles released to the radio, he’s not really active on social media, and rarely does interviews.

I’m looking at someone of his age range like LL cool J. LL got way more hate in the 1990’s then he does right now. He’s in that respected OG veteran lane and people just appreciate his legacy.

People who can't let go of a beef was squashed 20 years ago, plus the "everyone successful is illuminati" people, plus social media making hating in general cool.
