I was lookin up his record as governor, and came across some :ehh: shyt

"Ventura was still successful in several initiatives. One of the most notable was the rebate on sales tax. In each year of his administration, Minnesotans received a tax-free check in the late summer.[49] The state was running a budget surplus at the time, and Ventura believed that the money should be returned to the public.

Later, he came to support a unicameral (one-house) legislature, property tax reform, gay rights, and abortion rights. While funding public school education generously, he opposed the teachers' union, and did not have a high regard for the public funding of higher education institutions. Additionally, Ventura supported the use of medicinal marijuana,[50] advocated a higher role for third parties in national politics, and favored the concept of instant-runoff voting. He also opposed the death penalty."

ive also heard him say "compare the penalties these bankers are paying, to what happens to you when you get caught with an ounce of marijuana" and "the only way we should go to war is if congress each has to commit a family member to combat"

It seems like people would write him off as unqualified, but i cant say I agree. Look what all of these 'qualified' politicians have done with our fukkin government :heh:

or would we rather keep electing these spineless hypocrites whove proven time and time again that they don't give a shyt about us? i dont even think the powers that be would let a dude like this be elected. i mean i know he plays up the conspiracy theory bullshyt, but he seems more genuine than any of these politicians, not to mention he fought for this country

thoughts? or bushes status :russ:

Im not saying he is or isnt but he comes off as a kook now. I like him as a politican though.

And hes an atheist if im not mistaken, so you know how that goes.

Get ready for more of the same in 2016.

the machine is working full force right now doing background checks on all candidates. they'll collect anything and everything they can find on him to bring him down. he has no chance.

if he's pro zionists he might have a chance. but he comes off a little too radical for the mainstream even though i fuq with him.:salute:

i just feel like we need someone to shake shyt up, and if you look at this lineup of dikkheads, he would be the one :yeshrug:

otherwise it's gonna be more of the same. its a shame that people are quick to write a dude like that off. we really have been put in the mindset that the dems and rethugs are the qualified ones who have our best interest at heart, and its fukkin terrible

Wait he didn't have a high regard for public funding of higher ed? So he believed that public universities should just jack up tuition to cover the cost that the government would of provided? How does that make sense. If anything the government should be making higher ed free.
