Pau Gasol has 500 more missed field goals than Charles Barkley...Carmelo has 1500 more missed field goals than Duncan...I guess that demonstrates their stronger mentality.

There is a difference between Strong Mentality and Delusion.
Kobe played the line between the two ALOT.
Carmelo has the same mentality as Kobe. He just shoots a 5% less FG% per game.

All the guys on the top 20 most missed FG of all time are legends. You play a long time and you're the #1 on your team you're going to miss shots. MJ played 15 seasons, if he played 5 more he'd probably be #3 or #2 in missed shots ever instead of 6th. Bron will probably end up in the top 5 if he plays 20 years.

Kobe stans would do ANYTHING to prop him up to Top 10 of all time
It's a small positive on some level. It shows he wasn't worried about stats and he really wanted to win no matter what. The negative aspect is that he hurt his team many times with horrible shot selection.
it doesn' tshow anything except that he played 20 years as the #1 shot taker on his team. If John Havelick or Elvin Hayes played 20 years they'd have more missed FG than Kobe. If MJ played 20 years he'd be in the top 3. Kareem and Karl Malone are 5th and 4th all time in missed shots. Were they hurting their team with horrible shot selection? No they just played 20 years. MJ is 6th with 15 seasons. Where he would be on that list with 20 seasons?
