Is leaving the hood still looked at as a bad or "sellout" thing in the Hip-Hop community?

Everybody knows what happens when someone with a little fame still stays in the hood, or around the hood, yet people still come out saying "I'm never leaving the hood". Whaddya think?

Nothing wrong with leaving the hood. The problem is millionaire nikkas like to look down on the places they came from. Like these people didn't mold you into the person you are today. Or they like to only come back to the hood to chill and hang. We need more successful folks to reach back and give back to their communities, not to go back to fukk hoes and chill.
