That's because TLR is now basically the equivalent of a stand up comedian who's been telling the same jokes or variations of them for almost a decade now. This is basically the same "white person and cookout" joke told for like the 20,000th time.
What happens when you reuse the same material over and over? Those boisterous laughs you used to hear gradually turn to sympathetic chuckles, groans, coughs, and ultimately silence.
