From my job to home, Lyft Pool costs me $3 while Uber maybe $8-10. I find myself getting Lyft even when I don't really need it bc the prices are so fukking low.
Since it's so cheap, I always tip a few bucks.

I'm getting rides where the driver gets paid $50 and I'm paying $3.99 because of the flat fair promo they have in NYC.

I keep both on deck and compare prices. Something interesting, last week I went to the jcole concert and when I was about to request the uber, I set the destination to the arena that it was being held at and it was like $20. I decided to change the destination to the mcdonalds that's two blocks away from the arena and it dropped the price down to $13. Felt like uber was two timing me
