Pretty much. Macklemore is a corny, below average rapper who is carried by Lewis' production and actual talented artists on the choruses. Ever notice how all three of their hits (Thrift Shop, Can't Hold Us and Same Love) have a featuring artist do the hook? Macklemore could never carry a song on his own.
