Is mad men a good show to watch?

I just finished all of Game of thrones. I saw all of The wire, the americans, walking dead, breaking bad, American Horror Story, Homeland, Luther, and Justified. Is mad men just as good or better than any of those shows? I saw one episode and it didnt really make me wanna continue it. Help me out coli

I'm about 2 Seasons in and it's Mildly Entertaining. Dramatic, but I like watching how things were in the 1950s. Quite Interesting from this Business of Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce with Advertising.

You could watch Draper snag Broads, Smoke and try to run away from his Past.
Sterling is a Prick that chases Dames and usually delivers Good Punchlines for Comedy.
January Jones is Betty Draper and she's a Real Looker.
Racism towards Blacks plays as a Factor in this Series as you could Imagine.
1 of the Guys of Draper's Department is actually Dating a Black Girl.
...like I say though, mildly Entertaining..depends on what you find Interesting and I'm only 2 Seasons in so far...

That's a weird ass comparison anyway. You wouldn't try to pit Seinfeld versus The Sopranos (not that they're similar to GoT and MM but you get my point).

Personally it's the definition of "meh". I tried to get into it but I had to force myself. Couldn't even finish the whole first season (which is never the case for me). And it's not the fact that there's no action either, I couldn't care less about that. Just couldn't bring myself to give a shyt about a single character. Aesthetically it's really dope though. You'll either love it or think it's the boringest shyt ever.

You have to like that specific type of drama. If I knew you outside of Thecoli I could probably tell you if you would enjoy it or not. Like an earlier poster said, either you love that shyt to no end or you think its the slowest building shyt ever. Patience is key to Mad Men.

You've got to stick with it through season 1 and 2 but from then onwards it's and you realise how good the first 2 seasons were.

Season 6 was beating GoT week for week imo, only got trumped on the RW week for GoT
