I never hear any praise for him, but before lebron imo he was the best player in cavs history, made the olympic team if I remember correctly, was a star in college, showed out at one of the all star games 1993 I think, great passer, excellent shooter but nobody really talks about him.

He was definitely underrated but he played in a smaller market and didn't win anything:manny: If the cavs don't trade Harper, they probably win something. If mj never played, they definitely win something :mjpls: It was crazy seeing a young Terrell Brandon come of the bench for him:wow:

At the top of his game, he actually made Kevin Johnson expendable.

Although I think KJ was better, they traded him to the Suns for Larry Nance(Now that's a dude who might be one of the most underrated players ever) and decided to roll with Price

He was pretty good but no superstar talent. In his era he was a star, yes. He wasnt on Kevin Johnson or Isiah Thomas level tho

He was a very solid player, I think he's giving the amount of respect he deserves from those who watched him play. There was just too many other great PG's during that era and he kinda gets overlooked by some younger fans. Also, he lost a lot of his quickness when he tore his knee up(I think it was in 1990 or 91), he was still good post surgery tho.

He is one of the best pick-and-roll point guards and maybe the best ever at splitting a double team.

If you make a Steve Nash v. Mark Price thread, though, you'll see a lot of people start to OVERRATE him.

I was thinking of doing a steve nash/mark price thread but I think nash is better to be honest

played longer, won mvp awards and shyt, just a good if not better shooter in his prime than mark price was and of course also a great passer

I think a fairer comparison would've been john stockton because neither won a title or league mvp

Stockton > Nash.

If memory serves me correct, he is one of the first people I have ever seen split a double team. I think he's underrated personally. But like someone posted earlier, he didn't win enough I guess. But, he and the Cavs also ran into MJ & co.
