Honestly I thought it was a good flick, and as much as these "leading" men take these obvious Oscar bait roles this was one of he least offensive. It was a good movie with good acting and an excellent message, not a classic by FAR but decent. I really liked the fact that the movie showed a black man in those times actually being a MAN, whose determination and drive defined his entire life. A lot of us young black males growing up in today's society could use more movies like Men Of Honor and less Madea flicks
