My car was hit almost a month ago and I can’t get into the shop. Full coverage, policy didn’t lapse or anything. The bum ass clown that hit me had no insurance, so he’s been ducking and dodging the calls from my insurance. It’s almost December 1st, my shyt should be in the shop by now. Adjuster saying they need to get a statement from the other party to move the claim forward. The motherfukker is obviously avoiding y’all, resolve all that once my car is fixed. I’m full covered, there’s no excuse.

Yes. Elevate it. Your insurance needs to pay no matter what. The only thing in question is whether or not you’ll need to pay a deductible. They should’ve been cut you a check for the repairs minus the deductible and should give you the deductible if they get in touch with the other driver and find you’re not at fault.
When the cops came to the scene, they didnt get statements from both of you? Or did he hit you, and you let him drive off without calling them

If you have collision coverage or uninsured motorist coverage then there should be no issues with you getting a inspection/estimate completed.
Unless YOU have pending coverages issues but you said you never lapsed then you should be good.
They do not need to get a statement from the claimant to resolve your vehicle damages. You will have to pay a deductible though because you are going through your own policy.

Update: I didn’t mention I did call 911 for the sole purpose of obtaining a police report. I found out last week the officer recorded the incident as “parties exchanged info…” I vividly remember trying to give him my version of events and he was trying to brush me off. No official police report, just a reference number for the 911 call. Dude didn’t have insurance w/ his dumb ass but talking about his dad works in insurance. Nikka, then why don’t you have insurance…you sound stupid.
I hate this bullshyt! nikkas without insurance be driving, weaving in and out of traffic like fake ass NASCAR drivers n shyt, just waiting to wrap their cars around something. Cop is a ho too. I hope you get your car fixed soon and throw the book at ol dude who hit you.
