I always thought it was because Kim was trying to hoe her
I kind of blame Slim and Birdman for this. Lil Kim was supposed to sign to Cash Money and she went there and recorded records with them. They then took her shyt and gave Nicki the blueprint. They even went as far straight jacking a record Kim played them.
