I own a Vita and can't tell much difference between non OLED screens and it's screen.
The OG did.
Look at the OG Vita, then look at a 3DS or Wii U Gamepad screen using LCD...difference is night and day

Really, just check the serial that should be on the bottom of your vita somewhere. See if it's 1000 or 2000
