Or you need at least 2 to prove its not a fluke :yeshrug:

Even though I cant rock with barkley's views he was a monster had his flaws

(Never played defense or took care of his body like he should have to have a longer career)

He was a beast but if he won one I think he would have a had a great legacy :ehh:

My view just getting one is great in my eyes

Depends on who you are.

One title/Finals MVP run made people look at Dirk Nowitzki as some kind of god.

LeBron James and Shaquille O'Neal won their first titles/MVPs and people were like :feedme:

Hell, Dirk won a title and then didn't even show up in shape the very next season, and the Mavs never had any success after, and people were just :yeshrug:

You don't need any titles to justify your greatness.

Charles Barkley or Dan Marino are some of the best to ever do it.

They don't rate under Robert Horry or Trent Dilfer just because of some jewelry.

I'd say it's a combination of the expectations people have for a player and when they've won in their career. Dirk, KG and Pierce won at the tail end of their primes after years of failure, so it was kinda like their legacy was complete type of thing.

On the flip side guys like Wade, Kobe and Kawhi won early on so they're good for a period of time in the eyes of many. After enough time passes though the pressure to start winning again comes up. Can Kobe win without Shaq? Can Kawhi win as the main guy, ect. Wade won early as the main guy and LeBron joined his team so he had more leeway than most.

LeBron and Shaq had way higher expectations than any of those guys mentioned which is why they're judged harsher, they also started winning titles right in the middle of their prime so folks expect them to keep it up
