Is parole officers extorting parolees common?

I know a guy who got paroled on 2 counts of murder. His parole officer got him a job at a resturaunt to keep him out of jail. The parole officer was cool with the manager and told the manager to accuse him of stealing from the register and to fire him.

The parolee went to his parole officer to see if he could line up another job for him, but he said no. Parole officer said he would have to pay him $150 a week for him to "look the other way" about him not having a job.

He was like "how the fukk am i supposed to come up with $150 a week???!!!"


Ultimately, he and 3 other ppl ended up robbin a big time drug dealer, before losing his life a few weeks later.

I snapped on a parole officer so hard a few years ago, he wanted to shoot me. nikka was so furious his lip was twitching and shyt and he put his hand on his gun holster. Which made me go even harder at his ass. Told him I’m not a damn parolee and he don’t have any say so over me. You pull that gun out on me, imma pull mine out. Told him all this is on camera so do what you do and see how it plays out.

This all started because he kept blocking my car in the driveway when he park behind me to checkin the men in my program and I told him there ain’t no reason in the world that I need to come find you first to do shyt. I may need to leave to go check on my mother but I can’t because you blocked me in the want to take your time to move. After the exchange, I got a call from the Chicago parole commander and told him I said and did all that and here’s why. He apologized for the issue. Next time I saw dude about a year later, I didn’t even know it was him because of how buddy buddy he tried to act. My coworker had to tell me it was the same guy
