Is Prince the greatest artist of all time?

He writes, produces, arranges ALL of his own music and his music varies from R&B, Funk, Rock, New Wave, etc. He's got a handful of classic albums (Dirty Mind, Controversy, 1999, Purple Rain, Around The World In A Day, Parade, Sign O' The Times)

Dude can sing, dance and play a handful of instruments. He's been doing his thing since the late 70's and can still put on a great show:

I think he's becoming more respected since toning down his androgynous image, ditching his ridiculous unpronounceable symbol as a name, and emphasizing his guitar playing ability during live performances, but I think he still has some damage control to do before being looked at as a serious artist in the vein of Miles Davis or John Coltrane.
