Is Red Lobster something every black person should experience in their lives?

I would be with you, but niqqas up here are biggin' up Joes Crab Shack. Joes is not better than RL. Its the same quality food, with roughly the same prices --- difference is that Joes is generally located in more upscale areas w/ predominately white patronage, while RL is more working class, minority oriented. Thats what makes it cheap to some.

I'm really not trying to be bougie but I've eaten at a lot of seafood places, and unless I just happened to pick bad dishes, the food at red lobster in comparsion was bland and I was asking myself why I wasted my money.

You dudes think there is only casual and fine/uppity dining and no grey area. Trust me, if you live in the right place and have enough local restaurants around, you can find places that are even cheaper than Red Lobster and the food is better.

shyt, it doesn't even have to be a local place, if you live in the south and you're picking for example Red Lobster over some other chain like Pappadeaux ( ), then you're playing your taste buds breh .

Same thing with olive garden with their prices and bland food.

Olive Garden sucks for sure, its food you can easily make at home --- but I cant understand how you can say RL is "cheap and gross". Some of their lower end dishes, like shrimp scampi are a bit lacking but you get what you pay for there. Some of their higher end plates, like grilled shrimp skewers, go. Im know there are better tasting spots, but all this gross, cheap, nasty talk I hear is silly, and definitely hyperbole.

Self-hatred is strong around here. Seemingly any establishment that attracts black patronage, which exceeds the overall black population even slightly gets written off as "a black thing", or "ghetto", "cheap", etc.

Red Lobster is delicious. Not particularly healthy, but it tastes good, and there's a wide variety of entrees. Fck out of here calling it the "mcdonalds" of seafood restaurants. If you like seafood, you lost for being a RL virgin. What are u asking peoples opinions for? We dont share taste buds. You want to bring a coli poster with you, so we can chew it first and spit it in ur mouth?

Never understood that. Like what you like, eat what you want to eat.. I like red lobster, and I like Olive Garden too, I couldn't careless if the Coli didn't approve
