Jeff Bezos only owns about 11-12% of Amazon

awful comparison... just awful.

Bezos also started Amazon out his garage. percentages get diluted due to investment rounds.

Roc Nation is just a boutique under Live Nation. Totally not the same. its smart by Jay to use their capital and infrastructure, but its not the same

what are you talking about.. you're comparing internal operations and company structure.. we're talking stake in company ownership... it's a direct comparison..

Both Live Nation and Amazon are publicly held companies..

Meaning if you invest in Live Nation, you own diluted shares of the 50% of Roc Nation held by LiveNation..

Im not gonna debate this. dont compare no lil spinoff company to Amazon and Bezos.

Roc Nation is a PRIVATE COMPANY. They are in a partnership. They have no stocks dawg.

Jay job is to exclusively secure leading talent for themselves and Live Nation. profits are split.

What I can guarantee you is that whatever contracts they drew up didn't have a clause for anything like this shyt happening so shyt's gonna get ugly real quick

They do, it’s called. The ‘Force majeure’ Act of God” clause

Thats a publicly traded company, he woulda never made it public if he wanted sole ownership. You get richer with a publicly traded company but you do divide control with the other steak holders. Jay Z aint took his company public, he uses private investors he's a rich corporate slave fukk Jay Z thst is not black excellence, ots a slave mentality and his Jewish coherts want us to follow that. Make money for them and we get crumbs and use celebs to craft an American dream black image.

Roc Nation is indeed a private company, but when they went for an investor, they were purchased by Live Nation at a percentage... now whenever Live Nation sells a share, you are entitled to that percentage of Roc Nation's equity.

Yall keep trying to write Jay off, but not seeing the big picture.. Worth is all subjective, what we are talking about is equity. at this point Jay owns more of his company than Bezos, that's a fact.

This is not accurate at all.. and extremely subjective..who told you this?

In 2019, Cargill was the largest private company in the United States, by revenue. That year, they had a revenue of 113.5 billion U.S. dollars. Jan 22, 2020

Whats your definition of black excellence sir.

They all are.

LIVE Nation, Roc Nation, all of them.

Artists main revenue is touring this hurts everyone's pockets. Weeknd has the capita and status to ride it our, but his income for 2020/2021 took a major hit. Someone like Meek Mill, in that mid/upper range zone is probably quietly scrambling.

It's ugly right now because it makes very little sense to drop an album right now when you can't get any traction via tours, legit media tours, etc.

That's why at best you can drop a song and hop TikTok picks it up.

The rappers who have multiple streams of income are cool. The ones dependent on touring and music are hurting.

Nevermind all the backends they're not going to receive that they banked on. Gonna be alotta lawsuits with promoters and artists.

Roc Nation is decent because they have a label and management. Live Nation, their partner/owner, is the one who is struggling because touring and ve ues are their main stream.
