Is shopping on Black Friday still a thing?

I can see clothes and a few other odds and ends but with everything now pretty much digital now is this sh*t still poppin' like that? The $40 dollar dvd player days are long gone

I used to give my wife a few hundred and tell her to go have fun with her aunt and cousins with that Black Friday shopping shyt. The past 3 years or so I've been doing the Black Friday shopping myself online; though there hasn't been much worth buying that I don't already have

People still shop on Black Friday, but it has been reduced from previous years as all these places are spreading out their sales throughout the month of November, which helps mitigate people lining up and stampeding the stores. Additionally, more and more sales happen online. I think these companies are finally realizing that putting all their major sales one day of the month is stupid.
