Is Shutter Island underrated?

We all saw the ending coming, but it was an enjoyable film. I might watch it again tomorrow since it is on Amazon prime.

Yeah. That tension between "Is it a conspiracy?" and "Is he crazy?" was . It got to the point where it didn't matter either way.

Well its overrated in a critical sense. Its a very forgettable movie so no one talks about it. Absolutely no replay value.

Yeah it's underrated. Def def def underrated. Leo's flashback to what really happened with his wife is some of his best acting and the fact that when he finally gets his ten minutes of sanity at the end, he decides to off himself just to avoid slipping back into insanity, shyt was piff.

Plus Marty was flexing with this film and Ruffalo did his thing as well.

Case #3962 of why trailers ruin movies. The trailer made it look like some type of supernatural film, which likely turned off a lot of people.
