You could name any of our favorite Producers for that title because the last dope beat I've heard strictly beat wise was way back over 10 years ago. It wasn't Premo, It wasn't Dre or RZA, and not Swizz or Alchemist. It was Polow Da Don with Rich Boy's 'Boy Looka Here' way back in like 2008!!

MC's have been coasting for a long while as too have Producers. I bet this thread won't have one fire beat from the last 10 years. There's something in the hiphop waters and it is not only Swizz falling off because of it. It could be samples no motivation can not adapt to new energy sounds who knows but Swizz Beatz last great beat to me was ... 'Candy Green' again back in 2008.

So you don't count the Godfather Of Harlem theme song? That one is pretty notable for this decade? I counted 50 doing the Power theme song as his most popular song of the 2010s so I'd give that same tv theme song application to Swizz.

You said "notable" you didn't say "awesome undeniable beat that was a major hit." I still count that theme song as "notable" because the show is major.

On the flip side, I still have the "Take'Em Out" song in my rotation. It's not "notable" on a "super popular song" level but I thought it was dope and a good look for ScarLip. This dropped in 2023.
