Dude was nearly unstoppable throughout the 2000s :scust:

That run of Trap Muzik - Urban Legend - King is legendary

He birthed so many different dudes styles, basically defined what it meant to be an Atlanta rapper in the 2000s. In his prime he was vicious as a MC too. :noah:

:wow::mjcry::feedme:

Off skill he's top 25 imo, but his commercial success and influence put him over the top. :yeshrug:

I like T.I. a lot and his peak was fire, but I don't think he's top 25.

In no order:

Nas
Biggie
2Pac
Rakim
Jay-Z
Big L
Big Pun
Kool G Rap
KRS-One
Lord Finesse
AZ
Eminem
Snoop Dogg
Ice Cube
Method Man
Redman
DMX
Mos Def
Common
Andre 3000
Ghostface Killah
Q-Tip
Raekwon
Big Daddy Kane
LL Cool J
Black Thought
Slick Rick

That's 27 off top and I know there are others I didn't mention. Tip was dope but I think top 25 is pushing it

not really.

but you're right about him birthing styles. shyt, I still think Paper Trail was kinda like the blueprint for Eminem's "Recovery" and a couple of other mainstream/"pop-influenced but still hip hop" albums from 09 to 12

Not top 25 on my list...and I'm from the Atlanta..... He might make my top 150. :yeshrug:

And that says a lot because I listen to a LOT of hiphop.... I listen to a lot of shyt from the 90's, so I can list 100's of underrated rappers from the 90's.... From AZ, to Raekwon,to Mystikal to Ladybug Mecca from Digable planets.....

So T.I.making top 150 is good. :yeshrug:

Top 25 you're out of your mind. :stopitslime:

Snoop was cold back in the day. His whole original style, delivery, voice and persona combines to create a better and more impactful package as an emcee.

I agree after Doggystyle he kept declining but... I think you could argue Tip is a better lyricist, but he's not a better rapper in my eyes.

Tip made "better" music than Lord Finesse, but I will take Finesse on the mic over T.I. any day. Maybe I'm just one of those stuck in the 90s heads (I definitely am lol), but Finesse is one of the all-time punchline kings, had a dope voice and even gets the job done on the beats.

stuck in the 90s is right

if thats how you feel than :manny: but even the strictest heads would consider that a pretty one dimensional list

yes he is.

a lotta nikkas add flabby and sick old rappers to their lists to seem knowledgeable knowing damn well that a bunch of names that are revered in hip-hop never dropped an impactful and concise body of work and never had runs like t.i. did, they live on supposedly being god tier spitters in features, freestyles and the scattered tracks here and there
