The south is known for making hits and bangers but is overlooked lyrically for how superior we are when it comes to:

1. Being coherent
2. Staying on topic
3. Using words correctly and not for sake of a rhyme
4. Not inserting pseudo 5 percent percenter babble to fill time and give the appearance of depth
5. Not making gimmicky songs that no one listens to like one where you rap the entire dictionary in alphabetical order backwards

Outkast, goodie mob, lord infamous, t.i., 8ball, jid, Luda, cyhi, starlito, spitta, fiend, scarface, Mac, Mia x, Mr Mike, and krit know how to do it

Wu tang still dope though :manny:

I kinda agree but your explanation wasn't good. I would say the lyricist from the east are kinda overrated while the lyricist from the south are kinda underrated
Since when Has Jay Electronica and Scarface been underrated ?
