is the jay z hate justified?

with news that he touring with his wife, i peeped some jay z hate on twitter. basically saying beyonce is the shyt in 2014 and jay basically a washed up has been who is leaching off her. that is a narrative i have seen take shape ever since MCHG dropped. jay always got hate but seems like the media finally turned on him with the samsung ish, the quality or lack there off with the album, the belafonte beef, the barneys deal, and finally with the ike turner shout out on drunk in love. it seems like jay really got the image of chris brown in peoples eyes now. they basically following the whitney/bobby deal where she is the good girl to his bad boy. that always been there to a degree but it is taking on new life now.

my question is, as a jay hater my self, is this justified, or is it just hating from the millenial generation? u cant deny that jay is way past his creative peak. is he leaching of wifey?

This isn't the first time it happened. Back in 2002, Jay was catching it from the media and his fans. Best of Both Worlds and Blueprint 2 were critically panned. Also, after "Ether", it was open season on Jay Z from rappers dissing him. Not to mention Blueprint 2, not only being a critical failure, it was also the least selling album Jay released (outside of his first two) at that time.

He rebounded quite well though in '03 with some notable guest spots, that S. Carter Collection tape, and The Black Album.
