This has nothing to do with gender, its all about race
this is an intersection between race and gender.
Asian people are on it whenever someone depicts them stereotypical, they will pull all types of strings to ensure that their culture isn't mocked.
They didn't stop the Kung Fu series and countless other media that depicted Asians in a stereotypical role from producing that media.
Just because yall didn't think the movie was racist doesn't mean they think the same
I guess I am worried about what they think. They have had plenty of movies where the white man has been celebrated. They can sit they asses back and be subaltern for a second.

Looking from outside in, yes, it is pretty racist. I don't think they could have done the same thing using Asian women or Latina women, those groups would feel offended. Cacs have tough skin but that is probably because they are winning. When you're in the lead who cares what people behind you in the race are doing.

It was highly racist but anglos in a large part isnt sensitive to that shyt. They realized their lives go on. Once black people get to the point of doing them and not giving AF about trivial stuff like social racism then we're on the move.
Nah cacs can be as petty as anyone out there

White people are winning so as long as they're in power they can let stuff like this roll off their backs

No. For every Waynes Bros, Martin or Dave Chappelle or Eddie in "White Face" There HUNDREDS of Films, Television, Stage Plays and Radio Shows of Black Face characters. "White Face" is actually "Rare" where as "Black Face" was very much the norm and common. Also these black comedians weren't causing White Actresses or Actors to lose jobs where as "Blackface" did for black actors. I mean they f*ckin gave Robert Downey Jr. an Oscar Nomination for Black Face in 2008. Also "Soul Man" was popular comedy growing up in the 80's and that was Black Face. So even after "Black Face" was suppose to be over they were still doing it. So No I don't view it as racist as much as satire and it's laughable to even think it compares to DECADES of Black Face used to stereotype Blacks for so long.

It was filled with stereotypes, but wasn't necessarily racist.

If anything, they were just shytting on the dumb blonde cliche
This is probably the best way to describe it. Satire. Wasn't exactly taking itself seriously.

In the case of tropic thunder that's clear satire. The major point of he character is that everyone else is uncomfortable with him playing he role and also never breaking character. I wouldn't say that's the same thing.

Yes, having grown black men dress like white girls thus emasculating them for profit is racist :francis::martin:

And cacs made a lion's share off it. Our exploitation, not so much.
