Naw man, like I said in another thread, I was visiting my Aunt in the Poconos, and she wanted some Popeyes, and it took well over an hour for me to get my food after I placed an order. The line was crazy and it was in a majority redneck area.

The sandwich wasn't out nationwide in all their restaurants across the states it was only available as a "test run" by certain locations up until now where it's available in every Popeye's.


That's why it's now more well known by the public and is getting praise.


Fast food restaurants sometimes do "test runs" with new products in certain regions to see how it would pan out before being released nationwide.

This. Chick fil-a is white people food. I hate it - tasteless and mad regular. The only thing I get there is the chicken wrap and even that’s some shyt since they stopped serving spicy grilled chicken in them.

Yeah I'm sure...Popeye's on their website said that the product was going to be just a limited time test run only in certain locations to see how it would do...but since the sandwich got great reviews they decided to make it nationwide which is why the public knows more about it.

Anybody who knows anything about this city can look at the location placement and know it for being strategic as hell. Especially along that I-20 corridor, the lines at those locations are long allllll.day. It's been like that for a good few years now. The only thing different with all this online attention is that the Wendy's social media presence woke up the competition to just how much they can influence the masses on these online portals. I'm pretty sure they hired street teams like the old record labels.
