Is the post-Grammy sales bump still a thing?

For those of y'all who watch charts and shyt... has there been a bump for a hip hop artist in sales when winning one of the big categories? if we look from 2013 to now.

I haven't checked but I'd imagine so due to streaming. But in the flip side the biggest winning albums have been selling for months, it's nothing new. 24k Magic still selling well. DAMN still doing 30k a week in the top ten every week.

yeah, there's always a bump after grammys. Damn and 24k bumped up in spots even with it being just 2 days after the awards.

It's mostly streams. The main difference from Damn and tpab sales is that Damn was released at a time where streaming is at its most popular.

If you check out first week sales in terms of physicals, they are roughly the same.

idk about 2013, but there has historically been a Grammy's bump

Any level of exposure will do that, especially if the body of work is worth it and the stans go to work

sales plus streaming. the industry standard
HITS Daily Double

I know he did like 6k in traditional sales that week which is impressive in of itself; for reference, Taylor Swift's album, which came out last month, sold 8k in traditional sales this week. But in terms of the overall SPS chart...doing 30k a week with an album from last April is crazy.

More Life still doing 15-18k a week as well. The longevity of some of these albums is amazing.
