As much as I agree with every argument here supporting reparations in this review of the USA Today Reparations talk, I legitimately don't see it happening. In fact you almost have to think they're amping this knowing damn well it won't happen so the mere discussion of it gives them a chance to chase something.



Its legitimately hard for me to imagine that anyone things the US Government will give black people, exclusively, money, sans political backlash.

I don’t support reparations and it’ll never happen but I will say this. It’s interesting watching democrats lean 200% into identity politics, as a means of appealing to minority demographics while doing next to nothing to actually help any of them. All while pissing off white people. But reparations is where they draw the line. All this other insular, unpopular shyt is fine but not reparations. I just find that interesting.
