Is the tag feature working properly on here?

I've noticed I've jumped into threads where I seen myself tagged in a post yet I got no alert for it. I've also seen cats I've tagged not responding back so I'm hoping it's that and not them being on some shyt.

When you tag, do you type it out manually or do you type the first few letters and wait for the name to pop up?

I wait for the name to pop up so I don't misspell. I think it's working fine though. I tagged a member recently and he responded.
