I agree it's not 100 percent luck, but as much as we can play the results, it could have just been good fortune.

Durant was just 1000% getting that pick at the right time.

The 2008 draft was loaded. If he didn't take Westbrook, Eric Gordon and Kevin Love were on the board. He couldn't have gone wrong.

Ibaka was a nice find though.

Celt acquiring Bird, McHale, and Parrish within a 3 year span instantly comes to mind. OKC certainly warrants a salute for doing what they did in this day in age with he amount of scrutiny that comes along with the draft as well as the number of busts.
