The Knicks won a title in 1973 too. The early 70's Knicks would have been dynasty status had it not been for injuries and age.
Probably the smartest collection of players ever assembled on a bball court... and I mean from the starters all the way to the bench, they literally spoke their own made up consonant language when they ran plays, those players went on to earn PHD's and become U.S. Senators, or GOAT level coaches and shyt. Jerry Lucas was a damn memory savant. All of em anchored of course by Willis Reed who was as tough a player mentally as there ever was and one of the most skilled centers in the high post and mid range.
