So before this gen begun, the consensus amongst lots of people was that the cheaper Xbox would be a smash hit due to people not caring about graphics and wanting to play Madden, FIFA etc as well as the cheap price. But the console is now readily available in a lot of stores. I’ve just checked Walmart and you can buy it right now.

If people desperate to buy an Xbox don’t want the cheaper version and are waiting for the more expensive version, can we start calling it a failure? :lupe:

It was always a bad idea.

The series S is less powerful, and has less storage space, and is discless - so you have to download games online. Which means you will run out of storage MUCH quicker.

So then you have to probably have to buy more memory cards than otherwise.

And then about 2 years into the generation, it will be outdated since it is less powerful than the Series X and PS5.

Oh yeah, and it still costs a lot ($400?)

Worthless console

It’s pretty much a device meant to acquire more gamepass subscriptions, i doubt microsoft expects anyone to buy a game on it

But for just $100 you can get a more powerful version with more storage that still gives you the choice to use a disc if you want

And is more powerful :ld:

The Series X was always a complete waste of time. It's only for Xbox stans:yeshrug:. Though it being smaller may be useful if you want to travel with your console since it's smaller and lighter. It was always a marketing ploy by Microsoft so the stans could say, "See, Microsoft cares. They put out a cheaper option for the people." We all know how far goodwill among fan bases goes. I mean just look at CDPR:troll:

$200 more. And I personally enjoy my Xbox series S for what it is. I had a PS5 but I think console gaming is pretty shytty, so I sold that shyt for $350 more than I spent on it. Used that extra 350 and got a series S instead since I’m only using the shyt when I travel. I was gone for the last 3 days and the Xbox gave me Warzone and MLB the show for $1.
