Is there a more overblown rhetoric in sports than Frank Beamers "Special teams"?

I swear, watch any Va Tech game the past decade and you'll probably hear it mentioned once every game.

If they muff a punt or FG attempt:

Announcer: "Boy you usually don't see that happen from Frank Beamer coached special teams"

We talkin bout Special teams. Special teams. Special teams errors happen to EVERY team on an infrequent basis

I get it, it's important to the game. But it's not like it's been a true difference maker for Va Tech since even the early 00s.

They used to be killer on st. I feel like they were good for some kind of block every 2-3 games.
That was back in their hey day in the past 8 years or so I feel like they're regular
