I remember my mom telling me how time flies when you get old. I realized that at 19, but now it seems like it's going by REALLY fast. I'm 28 going on 29 and 2015 felt like the starting point of it, IMO.
It's already mid-March.
well THESE times. or this era seems to move even faster. i think it has to do with technology. tech is moving faster than we can keep up with. its insane at this point. so you always feel like maybe you aint up on something you should've been up on. which means you're always late. if you're always late, it means time is moving faster than you can.
But the reason time in general seems to move faster as you get older. is because you have to work 8+ hours a day and if you have family/wife... kids. dont have to take care of a parent(cause they're old at that point). then your time is made up of mostly sleep and work. a hint of kicking it. like a small hint. so you are literally working just to get a little kicking it time in. so your fun time goes by like warp speed. making you feel like every weeknd is gone before it even arrived.
When you're younger. especially when you're around 18 to 23 or so. if you dont have a full time job. you might be going to college or something. but after you get out. you're hanging out. even if you're studying a little bit. you still hanging with a study partner or 3(your friends. some ladies/dudes). when the books go down. its time to hang heavy some more. you're young full of energy so you stay up till 2 or 3 am easy. therefore your day is much longer. the moment you start working that time starts getting cut. cause you realize there's no way to hang out that much and stay up that late. and still have to go to work in the morning. aint going to happen much longer. so you morph into the basic setup. go to work. go get something to eat. maybe watch a sports game, play some video games. you might still play a little ball. and hit the bed. you get a family. cut some more of that other stuff out to make time for your fam and hit the bed. get back up. go back to work. you find a moment on the weekends to hang. cause you despise hanging mid week cause you already know" uhhhh i gotta get up in the morning and go work." as i type i'm thinking about it.
Thats why it has to be lovely to have made a ton of money early early in your youth in your 20's. then if you set yourself up right. you could just chill not working a 9 to 5 in your late 20's, 30's+. that would be a perfect scenario. but thats very hard to comeby. most people that have made that kind of money that early in life are still trying to come up with that next money move. so they aint even chilling hard like that.
