I'm watching Succession, and they have little scenes that show the class differences

Like what Roman does to the maids kid in the first episode
And Shiv making jokes because Gil shook a random dudes hand

But I wanna see a show where they have two points of view, the rich and working class people

To kind of hammer in the differences and how far apart they are

Kendall is such a try hard...from the opening rapping scene to season 2 where he's having someone on a motor cycle chauffeur him because his dad won't let him drive:mjlol:

Doesn't Parasite do this?

Google suggests maybe Knives Out, Uncut Gems, Dark Waters and Harriet too.
Didn't see Parasite but I plan too
But that's not in the same vein of Billions or Succession, is it?

I'm interested in stuff like corporate intrigue

I see. No, it's more about how rich people take advantage of the poor people that work for them in their own household. I think that's true for the other movies I mentioned too.

I think you've got a good idea for a theme for a future show. I know there's documentaries like that but I can't think of any fictional show that really showed how rich corporations fukk up everyone else's lives.

Unless it falls off hard, Succession by far.
Billions is easier to "get into"...but its more shallow.

Shallow how? I believe Billions is 5 seasons in. But I've told myself I won't dedicate myself to more TV unless its 5 star quality. I've spent too much times on shows that I watched for season and stopped after it took a nosedive.

In one of the Billions threads, someone described it as "Wealth Porn". It has some things in common with shows like "Entourage", in the way that it wants you to be jealous of the kind of lifestyles that billionaires can afford.
The show also kind of worships its rich characters and thinks that they are all devious and intellectually superior to normal people. But the writers' idea of "intellectual superiority" is that everybody has the ability to memorize and constantly quote "cool" movies.

Succession is hard to get into, because if you're not paying attention it looks like it's dead serious. Once you "get it" you realize its written like a comedy, but it doesn't give you a clue that you're supposed to be laughing at a joke or a funny situation.
